German Course A2

Topics and Content in the A2 German Course

In the A2 German course for beginners with prior knowledge, you will learn:

Communication in everyday situations, e.g. making appointments, talking about hobbies, discussing your work, talking about vacations, and inviting and congratulating people on special occasions.

You will learn more important basics of German grammar, e.g. the perfect tense, the past tense of modal verbs, the dative case, verbs and prepositions with dative, reflexive verbs, and verbs with fixed prepositions.

You will also learn something about German and Austrian society, e.g. the school system, sports and leisure culture, festival traditions, and differences between Germany and Austria.

The A2 course prepares you for the ÖSD exam (Austrian Language Diploma German). The course content is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
