General Terms and Conditions

1. Data Protection:

We strictly adhere to data protection laws and use personal data only for internal purposes and for processing bookings. Personal data will not be shared with third parties.

 

2. Registration

2.1 To complete your registration for a language course, full payment of the course fee is required. For semester courses, a 50% deposit of the course fee is sufficient until your visa application has been processed.

2.2 Payments can be made either in cash or by card at our school, as well as via online transfer.

2.3 After receipt of payment, you will receive a confirmation of your booking.

 

3. Payment Terms

3.1 For regular courses, the full course fee must be paid before the start of the course. For semester courses, only a 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance is due once your visa has been approved.

3.2 If you make an online transfer and the desired course is already fully booked, we offer the following options:

  • Placement on the waiting list
  • Rescheduling the course to a later date
  • A refund of the paid amount

 

4. Cancellation and Refund

4.1 For 1-month courses, a full refund is available up to one week after the course start, provided you have attended at least one class within this period. If no classes have been attended, no refund is possible.

4.2 For multi-month courses, a full refund is possible if cancellation is made at least one week before the course starts. Cancellations made after this period will result in a 50% refund of the remaining course fee.

4.3 In case of a visa rejection, which must be supported by official proof, we will refund the deposit for semester courses, minus a processing fee of 150 €.

 

5. Rescheduling

5.1 It is possible to reschedule to a later course start date up to 7 days before the course begins, subject to a fee of 30 €.

5.2 A change to a different language level is possible within the first week of the course, provided there are available spots, and will incur a fee of 30 €.

 

6. Additional Course Materials

For each language level, an additional course book is required, which is not included in the course fee and must be purchased separately.

 

7. Class Size

7.1 A course requires a minimum of 6 participants to run and is capped at a maximum of 12 participants. In exceptional cases, we reserve the right to exceed this number by up to 2 participants.

7.2 If a course is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, participants will be informed in advance, and the full course fee will be refunded.

 

8. Change of Teachers

We reserve the right to change teachers. There is no entitlement to a specific teacher.

 

9. Learning Success and Exams

We do not guarantee that a certain learning level will be achieved within a specified period or that exams will be successfully passed.

 

10. Class Schedules

Timetables will be published on our website at least 2 months in advance and are accessible to all participants. In case of necessary changes to the schedule, participants will be informed in time.

 

11. Class Cancellation on Holidays

11.1 On certain holidays, classes will be cancelled without replacement, meaning there will be no makeup sessions for missed classes.

11.2 If there are two public holidays in a month, classes will be held on one of these days or rescheduled. Participants will be notified in advance.

 

12. Holiday Closures Around Christmas and New Year

Our school will be closed during the Christmas and New Year period, from December 23 to January 5. No classes will be held during this time.
