Origin of our course participants
Where do the participants come from and how old are they?
Our participants come from all over the world:
Our participants come from all over the world, making our courses a truly international and diverse experience. We welcome students from every continent, such as Europe, Asia, Africa, America or Australia. This broad mix of cultures, traditions, and perspectives creates a vibrant and stimulating atmosphere in our classes, where people from different parts of the world come together to share knowledge, experiences, and ideas.
The diversity of our participants enriches the learning environment in countless ways. Through discussions about food, holidays, music, art, and daily life, students not only improve their German but also gain a deeper understanding of various cultures. These exchanges allow us to see both the unique differences and the common threads that unite us all. By learning from each other, we foster a sense of global connection and mutual respect.
Our courses are generally open to individuals from the age of 13, though we have had younger participants, provided they are sufficiently independent. The oldest participant was 92 years old. Most of our students are between the ages of 25 and 35, but we welcome learners of all ages. This mix of ages and nationalities enhances the educational experience, making our courses a dynamic space for both language learning and cultural exchange.
Reasons to learn German in Vienna
Why do they come to Vienna? There are essentially three reasons to come to Vienna and learn German:
- the desire to start a new life, find a job, and build something here,
- a partner from Austria and the wish to speak German with the partner and the family,

People who speak a language related to German, such as English or Dutch, learn it faster than people who, for example, speak an Asian language. It also helps if you already know the rules of your own language well and perhaps have already learned other languages.
