Is there a difference between the online courses and the courses at school?

In our online classes we offer the same high standards as in our school courses: all courses are taught by trained, qualified teachers with a degree in German as a Foreign Language, who are native speakers and have many years of teaching experience. Our modern, effective teaching methods are based on the latest research.

What is the difference between a regular course and an intensive course?

With a standard course you can complete one half of a level (e.g. A1/1) in one month. With an intensive course you can complete one whole level in one month (e.g. A1 = A1/1 + A1/2).

Is there a placement test?

Yes, you can find the test here on our website. It will help you evaluate your German language level.
You can also take the test at our school. We are located at Capistrangasse 10, 1060 Wien and are open Monday – Friday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Can I take an official language exam at your school?

Our courses will prepare you for the ÖIF and ÖSD exams. At the end of each course we will conduct a practice test. The official exams take place at a partner school. We will provide you with the needed contact information.

Do I get a certificate when I finish the course?

Yes, at the end of your course you will get a certificate which states the completed language level and the total hours of your training.

How many people take part in one course?

Our courses have a maximum of 12 people.

Is it possible that a course gets canceled?

Yes, if there are four or less registrations for the course, the course won’t take place this month. All registered students will be notified in time about the cancellation.

Is there a way to make up for a missed lesson?

There won’t be extra classes, but our teachers will provide you with the discussed materials and exercises for you to practice at home.

Are there additional exercises?

Yes, you can find additional exercises for each language level here on our website, furthermore you can visit our Youtube page for informative videos with German subtitles about different topics around the German language.

Until when can I cancel my booking?

Please let us know as soon as possible if you want to cancel your booking. Until one week after the course started (Friday of the first course week) we will refund 100 % of the course fee.

Do the teachers explain things only in German or also in different languages?

We will help you in English if needed and furthermore use, especially in beginner courses, a lot of pictures, dictionaries and other materials to teach German the best way possible. But note that some students don’t speak English therefore we try to keep it to a minimum.

Can I get a visa with your German courses?

Yes. Please pay the course fee in advance. Then we’ll send you a confirmation of your payment. Please send this confiramtion to the Austrian embassy of your country yourself. Meanwhile, you also have to apply for a visa. In our experience the Austrian authorities will issue a visa if you sign up for one of our courses. But since requirements may vary in different countries, we kindly ask you to find out for yourself. In case you are being denied a visa, we’ll send you back the money with a deduction of 50 euros for our efforts.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with accommodation. You can find student rooms i.e. at link or in the Facebook-Group: „WG-Zimmer in Wien gesucht".

How long does it take to complete one language level?

With a standard course you will need two months, with an intensive course you can complete one level in one month.

Where do the students come from?

However, if you are still unhappy with the course you can cancel your booking until one week after the courses start (Friday of the first course week) we then will refund the total course fee.

Are there other events taking place?
